Guide for Authors

The poster is a useful way of providing a concise summary of your research. Present the salient features and core results of the research in a textual, tabular or graphical format.

Preparation

1- Create a single-slide powerpoint presentation with custom dimensions:

  1. 16:9 ratio
  2. 52 x 27 cm
  3. on-screen
  4. landscape layout.

2- Use readable font for text:

  1. Calibri, Arial, Times New Roman
  2. font color black
  3. font size 14
  4. one and half line spacing

3- Graphs should be in gray scale or discrete color to be easily visualized on screen. The poster background is white.

4- The Title of the thesis is placed at the center of the top of the poster, with the researcher and co-authors as a subtitle.

    The affiliations are added as a second subtitle. Contact details of the researcher should be added.

5- Avoid clutter in the poster; do not put everything.

6- Ensure a logical flow of the contents.

7- Add the contents as text boxes, tables or images.

8- The introduction and conclusion must be focused and prominent.

9- Graphics should be in JPG, GIF or PNG file format.

Submission

  1. After completing the poster, print it to a Portable Document Format (PDF) file. Register to the online journal 
  2. system and submit the PDF. Submit the PPT file as supplementary material.
  3. The name and contact information of the internal reviewer should be submitted, subsidized by a letter from the head of the department.

 

Article Processing Charges (APCs)

 

An Article Processing Charge (APC) is due upon acceptance of the eposter. The APC is 600 L.E or 30 $US, payable to the Journal's bank account. Details of the payment are available at the Journal Office.
